Lozenge Pearl Pine
Size: 15 x 5,25 inch.
The shell is segmented pine. On the top and bottom I made segments of a
very fine grained beech to be able to make nice hard bearing edges. The
edges are nearly full round-overs with quite a wide radius. The finish
is a pre-aged WMP that I scratched lines into. I filled up the scratches
with black paint. The hardware is completely handmade from raw steel
that I patinated and treated with microcristalline
wax. The screws are generic and are brushed. The knob on the strainer,
the venthole grommet and the badge are beech. I can't tell you how
sensitive this snare is and how huge and fat it sounds! Prize: 645,- Euros.
